GATE SEEDS: Permanent Gates to the Unseen World

Gate Seeds

A Gate Seed is a specially crafted sorcery object designed to establish and maintain a stable connection with the Unseen World. Once planted in the ground at a chosen location, it provides the practitioner with a permanent and reliable point of contact with the Unseen, removing the need to open a new ritual gateway each time magical work is performed.

Once planted and awakened, the Seed allows the practitioner to return repeatedly to the same active point, where the connection has already been established and strengthened through continued use. Over time, the Gate becomes increasingly receptive, making communication with the Other Side, invocations, offerings, and other forms of magical work more stable, efficient, and consistent. Rather than opening a temporary passage for every ritual, the practitioner works through a living Gate that gradually becomes an extension of their own magical practice.

Each Gate Seed is accompanied by its Guardian: a spiritual entity, often taking an animal form, which is bound to the Seed during its creation. Its purpose is to protect both the Gate and the location in which it is planted from unwanted intrusion, whether originating from the physical world or from the unseen realms.

For this reason, I strongly recommend establishing a protective perimeter around every Gate Seed. Each Seed is supplied with five ritual seals, which are buried at five equidistant points around it. Together, these form a spiritual boundary that contains the currents, forces, and unseen entities working within the Circle, while preventing unwanted influences from crossing its boundaries. The protective perimeter should not exceed twenty metres in circumference, creating a ritual working area approximately six metres in diameter.

Each Gate Seed includes a printed set of instructions specifically adapted to its nature. These instructions cover the entire life cycle of the Seed, including its planting, the establishment of your connection with it, the use of the Gate, the feeding and maintenance of its Guardian, placing the Seed into dormancy when it is not being used, and the permanent closing of the Gate should you ever decide to destroy it.

The completion of each Gate Seed requires approximately five weeks, during which it undergoes daily ritual stabilisation before it is considered ready for dispatch.

Available Gate Seed Variations

Generic Gate Seed
Created as a neutral gateway to the Unseen World, this Seed is suitable for general magical practice and may be used for communication with spirits, invocations, offerings, divination, and other forms of practical magic.

Necromantic Gate Seed
Created specifically to establish a permanent point of contact with chthonic and necromantic currents. This Gate is intended for practitioners whose work centres upon the Dead, psychopompic forces, and the deeper mysteries of the Underworld. Its current is deliberately aligned with the lower strata of the Unseen and is therefore not recommended as a general-purpose ritual Gate.

Custom Gate Seed 
A Gate Seed may also be created in connection with the current of a particular Deity or other spiritual entity, transforming the place in which the Gate is established into a sanctuary and sacred ground dedicated to that specific power. Such Seeds are suitable for initiatory work, invocations, devotional practice, and other forms of magical work directly associated with the chosen entity.

Because it is not possible for me to maintain a personal working relationship with every entity and Deity within the Unseen, custom Gate Seeds of this nature must be discussed with me in advance so that I can determine whether the requested working can be undertaken.

Some of the custom Gate Seeds I have previously created have been dedicated to Nyx, Azazel, Hekate in her Key-bearing and Chthonic aspects, Apollo Smintheus, Naamah, Pan, Cernunnos, Inanna, and various currents of Venus, including Inanna, Ishtar, and Astarte. I have also created Gate Seeds for the current of the Gorgons, through Medusa as Guardian of the Gates of Hades, as well as for particular ancestral bloodlines.

Availability & Waiting List

Please note that, due to the time, ritual dedication, and daily work required to create each Gate Seed, I can produce no more than six or seven Seeds per year. All orders are therefore placed on a waiting list.

The first currently available commencement date is 19 January 2027.

Weight & Packaging

Each Gate Seed is a substantial, handmade construction with a net weight of approximately 3–5 kg. Including the five accompanying seals, ritual materials, and reinforced protective packaging, the total shipment weight is approximately 6–7 kg.

• Within Greece: Shipping is carried out exclusively through a freight/courier transport company for secure handling of the package.

• Within Corfu: Delivery may be arranged personally, or the Gate Seed may be collected directly from The Witch’s Cellar.

• International Shipping: International orders are arranged directly with the client so that the exact shipping cost and the most appropriate method of transport can be determined according to the destination country.
